''Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change''

- Brene Brown

Welcome to Prana Connection, I'm Tamina.

I hold a bachelors degree in Social Worker with a background in mental health. Over the past decade, I’ve worked across government and community mental health services, hospitals, addiction teams, and in therapeutic support for people who have experienced complex trauma.

My passion is supporting women through the thresholds and transitions of life — the moments where things feel uncertain, overwhelming, or ready for change. Whether you’re navigating mental health challenges, relationship changes, burnout, identity shifts, recovery, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, I aim to provide a space where you feel genuinely seen, supported, and empowered.

I offer integrative therapy with a focus on helping individuals reconnect with what matters most to them and take meaningful steps toward the life they want to live. My approach is holistic, compassionate, and person-centred. I believe each person already holds wisdom within themselves, and sometimes we simply need support, clarity, and the right environment to help that emerge.

Alongside my professional experience, travel, connection with nature, and a deep appreciation for self-care and personal growth have shaped the way I work with others. I value authenticity, connection, and creating a safe space where people can explore who they are and what they need without judgement.

When working with clients i utilise several modalities including:

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)

Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Solution Based Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy
